The Collection - Wine & Olive Oil Tours

Italy has been producing wine and olive oil for over 2,000 years. The Greeks thought that Italy was so ideal for growing grapes that they called her Enotria, the land of wine. Today, Italy produces more wine and more varieties of wine than any other country. Stretching from the Alps to the southern tip, Italy boasts a wide range of climates and soils that can produce the many varieties of wine. Since there are vineyards in all 20 regions, the whole country offers wine for your clients to sample. Olives are also grown throughout Italy, and many varieties of oil are also produced depending on climate, soil, etc. Olive oil production has changed little over the centuries, and to see how it is produced is interesting all by itself. Now that the world knows the health benefits of olive oil, you can extol it as a healthy habit. Where do you begin? You begin with a call to TR International who knows Italy and how to arrange a tour that balances the traditional sights and activities with an in-depth agenda of vineyards and dozens of wine tastings. White wines, red wines, sparkling wines, dessert wines, TR International will schedule it all.
