The Collection - Fine Art Tour

Italy can boldly proclaim herself as the art center of the world, as a staggering 40% of all the art in the world lies within her borders. Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci are the first names people mention when they speak of the great masters. Art in Italy is a part of life. It is alive and it is everywhere. Art dating from prehistoric times through the Etruscan and Greek periods, Roman art, Christian, Romantic, art of the Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical and the modern art of today. One could spend weeks studying the Venetian art of the 16th century. How do you organize a tour when there is such an abundance of riches to choose from? TR International will make the arrangements for you. They know the art of Italy and know how to best balance those interests with the traditional sights of the country. Your clients will view some of the most famous art in the world, from the famous, like Leonardo's “Last Supper”, Michelangelo's “David”, “The Pietà” and the Sistine Chapel, to the less well-known but equally impressive things like the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, or the Scuola di San Rocco in Venice. And of course, they will visit Florence, the most famous art city n the world. But they will also see some of the world's great art treasures that are more isolated in the tiny villages throughout Italy. Lectures and tours from art historians and university professors can be arranged as well.
