The Collection - Roman Catholic Tours
The
Roman Catholic Church is the largest single institution in the world. Rome is
the seat of the Catholic Church and much of the development of the church occurred
throughout Italy. Rome and Trent are the sites of the greatest Ecumenical Councils
that together formed the structure of the Catholic Church as it exists today.
As your clients travel throughout Italy, some of the sites that they will see
are the Cathedral of Turin, home of the famous Holy Shroud; shrines for saints
like St. Francis, St. Anthony, St. Dominic, St. Peter and St. Paul. In Rome, the
Catacombs, the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum where early Christians gave their
lives to the testament of their faith. The highlights of the tour will be Mass
at St. Peter's and the Papal Audience. In addition to all of the Catholic points
of interest, your clients will want to visit the traditional highlights of Italy
such as: Florence, the most fabulous art city in the world; Venice, with its intriguing
canals; Pisa, with the Leaning Tower. We are uniquely qualified to handle Catholic
tours of Italy: TR International evolved from a company, Tourist Romea, who opened
its doors in 1950 to serve pilgrims from around the world. Every year since, this
company has continued to provide Catholic tours.
